Maui (the cat, not the island)

Maui experienced his first fur pulling by Isabella. He was startled, but took it well. No lashing out. That's just a taste of what's to come Maui. Brace yourself for years of torture!

Father's Day

On Father's Day we went to grandma and grandpa Liut's for a backyard BBQ. Most of the MacNab famiIy were there. Isabella went in a swimming pool for the first time. The pool was warmed up just for her so she didn't really mind it. There was a little bit of crying. She wore her tiny bathing suit, with no swim diaper. Enjoy...whoever takes a dip next!

Picnic and Bumbo

On June 18th, Julie, Jing, babies, dogs and I had another picnic at Hillcrest park. We had delicious sandwiches and salads. Isabella got the nickname "Niagara Falls" from Jing since that was the quantity she spit up all over Jing's new dress.

Here's a photo of Isabella entertaining herself in her bumbo chair. She looks a little freaked out by the fact that she is sitting upright on her own.

RBC grand opening

On Saturday June 5th, Tony's branch had it's official grand opening. It was a family event so Isabella and I tagged along. There were clowns, face paining, ice cream and dance music. Isabella was too young to participate in a lot of the activities but we did sit for a caricature of us.

We went inside to Tony's office for feeding and Isabella helped Tony trade some stocks. Take that E*TRADE baby!

My parents saw Dave Matthews and all I got was this T-shirt

The night of June 1st, Tony and I along with Brad and Anna attended our annual Dave Matthews Concert. Grandma and Grandpa Liut came to Toronto and took great care of Isabella for 5 hours while we got our ear drums blasted out. Go figure the first time we go away, Isabella hits a milestone. She rolled over from her back to her tummy twice on her own.

Dave Matthews put on a great show. Isabella was too little to come to this concert but she'll go next time Dave comes to Toronto.

I also wanted to include the picture of Isabella in the laundry basket. Totally unrelated to this post, but cute nevertheless.

Picnic in the park

On June 1st, Julie and Owen, Jing and Amira and Isabella and I plus the dogs, George, Gertrude, Six and Kaffrey had a picnic at Hillcrest park. We couldn't ask for better conditions. It was a warm day, not too hot and there was no sign of those pesky picnic ants that carry your food away. Phew! Isabella had a nice long nap under the shady tree.
