First Rugby Game

On Saturday, May 29th the Toronto Dragon's Rugby club held their annual family day. Isabella and I went to watch Tony play his first game in about a year. Isabella was very proud when her daddy scored a try. She also got to hang out with some of her friends; Owen and Amira. The black and white photo was taken by Jing.

Things that happen when you turn your back for a second.

1. Isabella's napping in our bed. I leave to go to the washroom. Maui walks on her, wakes her by startling the bejesus out of her and then snuggles up.

Lesson learned: Stop intaking all liquids so as to never, ever have to go to the washroom again.

2. Left her in the swing. Went to wash some dishes. Turned around. There she is half hanging off the swing, her socks have come down and she managed to thread her arm to her armpit through the toy she was holding in her hand 10 seconds earlier.

Lesson learned: Let Tony do all dishes all the time to prevent such a tragedy from happening again, (or just start buckling her into the swing). Whatever.

Muskoka Baby!

This past Victoria day Tony, Isabella, Brad and Anna and I went on a little vacation to Muskoka. We stayed at the Delta Grandview in Huntsville. We had great weather and it was a nice change of scenery. This was Isabella's first sleepover in a hotel and her first time enjoying the Ontario greenery. She lounged, sunbathed (in the shade of course), napped and went for a few walks in the fresh air. We took away her Blackberry so she could really focus on rejuvenating from the stresses in her life. She also got a present from ciocia (aunt) Anna, a pink musical jewellery box with a dancing ballerina. I'm sure she will cherish it, unless she's a tomboy.

Fashion File: Dresses, Dresses and More Dresses!

With the summer weather we've had Isabella has been sporting some of her dresses before she grows out of them. She is now 3 months old and slowly transitioning into the next clothing size. We need to get as much wear out of them as possible.

Bridal Shower

On Saturday, May 8th Isabella and I attended Anna's bridal shower in Whitby. Babcia was there to watch Isabella while I attended to my bridesmaid's duties. Isabella was well behaved. She ate, slept and played with her babcia. Afterwards we quickly visited dziadzia (grandpa) at home.

First Mother's Day

On Friday, May 7th Tony sent me to the spa for Mother's Day. It was the first time he got to spend an extended time alone with Isabella. He got to feed her, take a nap together and get her ready for a dinner out after the spa.

Just a daddy and his daughter

Photo sessions

Here are some photos Jing took as a gift for us. She's an amazing photographer. Some are from when I was pregnant and the ones of Isabella are from when she was a few days old.
